By accessing or using My Wedding Day ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including couples and wedding suppliers.
My Wedding Day is an online marketplace that connects couples planning their wedding with wedding suppliers across South Africa. We provide planning tools, supplier listings, and communication features. We do not act as a party to any agreement between couples and suppliers.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering.
Suppliers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including pricing, availability, and descriptions. My Wedding Day reserves the right to remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading, or in violation of these terms. Basic listings are free; premium tiers are subject to monthly subscription fees.
Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experiences. We prohibit fake, defamatory, or misleading reviews. My Wedding Day reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these standards. Suppliers may not review their own business or incentivise couples to leave reviews.
Subscription payments for supplier tiers are processed via PayFast. All amounts are in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
You may not use the Platform to: post false or misleading information; harass other users; scrape or copy content without permission; circumvent security features; or engage in any unlawful activity under South African law.
All content on the Platform, including design, logos, and copy, is the property of My Wedding Day or its licensors. Suppliers retain ownership of their uploaded photos and descriptions but grant My Wedding Day a licence to display them on the Platform.
My Wedding Day is not liable for any disputes, damages, or losses arising from interactions between couples and suppliers. We do not guarantee the quality or suitability of any supplier listed on the Platform. Use the Platform at your own risk.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
